So far I’ve had 8 driving lessons, so 8 hours, and I’m able to drive around easily etc, but still need some instruction from my instructor just to keep me safe. But how many lessons do you think someone should have before they can be insured on a parents car and are able to drive with that one parent?
Do you think, in general, BSM is a good company for getting some driving lessons? Are all the instructors from BSM ADI qualified? Would you recommend BSM in general? Can you share your experience please? I really need to pass the practical test (urgent) and I need some lessons to drive in UK as I used to drive in another country. If you know a good instructor in Manchester please do let me know, I’d be most grateful.
Cheers!
Is it true that people who have family or friends with cars to practise in pass quicker and learn much more?
There’s no way I can get any private practise as family don’t drive and friends don’t have cars. I can only depend on the driving lessons with my instructor, does this mean it would take me forever to learn to drive as I’m not getting no private practise in-between my lessons!
Ok, i live in west sussex and am going to start learning to drive in September. I was just wondering how much you reckon im going to need to save for my driving lessons..if every lesson is 2 hours, ill be having about 2 hours a week. so, how much do you reckon over all i will need to save?
just started taking my driving lessons but wondering if my instructors right that at some juntions you use the clutch and some you don’t i was confused by this which ones to use it on, and that you have to drive right by the path. thanks
I did my test 10 years ago but failed it. I have never really felt the need to drive and did it first time round as it was just the done thing, now however I have the chance of community nursing but obviously need to drive ASAP. I am thinking of taking a weeks intensive driving lessons with the test at the end of the week.
Anybody any experience with these? are they a good idea? im 39
i have had 13 driving lessons on and off for he last yr and in september I’m going to re start again but as i keep starting and stopping and i know my theory very well and you have 2 years after passing your theory to past your driving test would it be a good idea to get my theory out of the way?
i will get my provisional driving licencse very soon this year, and i wanted to know that do i have to take driving lessons from driving schools or can my dad teach me to drive on road etc, and i can learn the theory myslef from those CD’s and books. Then when im ready i can take the test.
Thankyou
